The Five Dysfunctions of a Team

Overview:

“The Five Dysfunctions of a Team” is a best-seller & distinguished team building model developed by the famous Patrick Lencioni. It is considered now the world’s most definitive source on practical information for building teams.

In his model, Lencioni outlined reasons for teams’ dysfunctionality to 5 main reasons:

Dysfunction #1: Absence of Trust: The fear of being vulnerable with team members, which prevents the building of trust among them.

Dysfunction #2: Fear of Conflict: The desire to preserve artificial harmony, which suffocates the occurrence of productive ideological conflict.

Dysfunction #3: Lack of Commitment: The lack of clarity or buy-in, which prevents team members from making decisions they will stick to.

Dysfunction #4: Avoidance of Accountability: The need to avoid interpersonal discomfort, which prevents team members from holding one another accountable.

Dysfunction #5: Inattention to Results: The pursuit of individual goals and personal status in a way that erodes the focus on collective success.

Finding ways to avoid and build the healthy counter-acts of the above dysfunctions in a highly engaging, thought-provoking, and interactive learning experience is the objective of this workshop.
