Overview:
Increasing complexity demands increased capability. If we want staff who can navigate through today’s challenges, foster innovation, and builds organizations of sustainable and growing success — we need to equip them with the skills of emotional intelligence. Research shows these learnable, measurable skills improve leadership effectiveness, retention, organizational climate, and the bottom line.
Course Methodology and Roadmap:
- Impact’s EI is based on Daniel Goleman’s famous model of Emotional Intelligence. In addition to that, in its methodology, it is a drama, assessment, self-reflection, and group-work based workshop.

Part Two: Self-Management:

 - The Freedom Zone – From reaction to response
 
 - From Drama to Empowerment – From the victim to the creator mentality
 
Part Three: Social Awareness:
- “Seek first to understand, then to be understood” – Power of Social Intelligence
 - “Map is not the Territory” – Power of Perception
 - Handling Difference – The Social Styles Simulation. Learning includes:
- The four social styles of interaction:
 
 - Their characteristics
 - Their needs
 - Their orientation
 - Their growth areas
- Using Social Styles intelligence of self & others for better communication & increased influence
 
 
Part Four: Relationship Management:
- Transactional Analysis- The different ego states people operate from and how to read & manage each:
- The Three Ego states: The Parent, Adult, and Child
 - Learning Empathy- How to step in their shoes
 - Silent Reading- The art of understanding & using body language
 - Win/Win – Mastering Assertiveness
 - Sources of influence
 - Formal & Personal sources of influence
 - Tactics & strategies of influencing individuals
