CONFLICT RESOLUTION

October 25, 2017 @ 9:00 am - October 26, 2017 @ 5:00 pm UTC+0

The Third Way

The road less traveled for effective conflict resolution

Overview:

William Ury, an expert on conflict and negotiation, asks in one of his bestselling books a very important question: “Are we doomed to fight?”

The question is very valid, as it seems that most organizations suffer from conflict escalations, creating an unfavorable working environment. We all face conflicts, one way or another regardless of our capacities, abilities or wishes. If it is a fact of life that we go through conflicts, then we better be ready and prepared for them.

Course Roadmap and Methodology:

This program aims at creating a mind shift on how one perceives conflicts. It is designed for participants to acquire deeper understanding of conflict and its relation to communication; how communication could cause it, escalate it, resolve it, how they personally react to conflicts, and most importantly how to create and find a way to resolve it.

Methodology:

“The Third Way” is a simulation based workshop. “Baraka Island”, a hypothetical conflict situation island, where participants in teams got to manage through the multiple challenges they are faced to resolve together.
